The short version: PeptiLux uses only essential cookies to keep you logged in. Our analytics tool (Umami) is configured to run without cookies and stores no personal identifiers. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or third-party tracking cookies of any kind.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as whether you are logged in, so you don't need to sign in again on every page. Cookies can be set by the website itself ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services embedded in the page.
Cookies We Use
PeptiLux sets only the cookies that are strictly necessary for our website to function. We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or analytics cookies that identify you personally.

Analytics — Umami (Cookie-Free)
We use Umami, an open-source analytics platform, to understand how visitors use our website. Umami is self-hosted on our own infrastructure — your data is never sent to a third-party analytics company.
Critically, Umami is configured in cookie-free mode. It does not set any cookies, does not fingerprint your browser, and does not store any personally identifiable information. What it does collect is:
- Pages visited (URL and page title)
- Referrer (how you arrived on the site)
- Browser type and operating system (generalised)
- Country (derived from IP address, but the IP is never stored)
- Whether you are a new or returning visitor (anonymised session hash, reset every 24 hours)
This data is aggregated and anonymous. It cannot be used to identify you individually, and it is never shared with third parties. Because no cookies are involved, Umami analytics does not require your consent under GDPR ePrivacy rules.
What We Do NOT Use
To be explicit about what is absent from PeptiLux:
- No Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Google Tag Manager
- No Meta Pixel, Facebook tracking, or social media widgets
- No retargeting or behavioural advertising cookies
- No cross-site tracking of any kind
- No third-party advertising networks
- No TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter/X, or other platform pixels
How to Control Cookies
Because we only use essential cookies for login functionality, blocking them will prevent you from logging in to your PeptiLux account. If you do not have an account, you can browse and shop as a guest without any cookies being set beyond the consent acknowledgement.
